Hard not to speak in cliches right now. A billion dreams. A 28 year wait. The biggest street celebration India has seen. And possibly one of the biggest sports celebrations in the history of man. We were there. We shot it. We partied in the Fishermen's village and later on Marine Drive (by partied I mean we shot other people going ape shit). Finally had a beer in the office with crew at 2 am. The street celebrations went on all night. Drums, dancing, screaming, honking.
To put this in perspective, you have to understand that this is a country that has really only ONE sport - cricket; and it hadn't won the biggest prize in that sport since 1983.

The joy of the Indian people was pure. There was no posturing, no rioting, no aggression. Just elation.

Images coming soon! First a day of rest.
